How I think
A few things I believe strongly enough to write about
Clarity is a design skill
The ability to make something genuinely easy to understand is as hard-won as the ability to make it beautiful. I find the former more interesting.
Honest answers beat fast ones
There's an enormous pressure in consulting and in AI to give confident answers quickly. I've learned that sitting with a question longer usually produces better work.
Technology should earn its complexity
Every layer of complexity is a debt that someone has to pay. The best technology is invisible — it just makes the thing you’re trying to do feel effortless.
